Hilary Knight Heads to 5th Olympics with IIHF Seattle
## A Veteran's Journey to the Olympics
When the U.S. women's ice hockey team takes the ice at the 2024 Winter Olympics in Milan, one player will be making her fifth appearance on the biggest stage in sports - Hilary Knight. The 34-year-old forward has been a fixture on the national team since 2006 and is set to become the first American woman to compete in five Olympic Games.
Knight's illustrious career has seen her win two Olympic silver medals and one gold, along with multiple World Championship titles. She's also a driving force for the IIHF Seattle franchise in the Professional Women's Hockey League, where she has been a dominant scorer and leader on the ice.
"Hilary is the epitome of what it means to be an Olympian," said U.S. head coach Tony Granato. "Her experience, skill, and passion for the game are unmatched, and she continues to be a role model for the next generation of players."
As Knight prepares for her fifth Olympics, she remains as driven and focused as ever. "I'm honored to have the chance to represent my country again," she said. "The Olympics are the pinnacle of our sport, and I'm excited to help lead this team to gold in Milan."
