teaserU.S. Ski & Snowboard Team athlete Ryan Cochran-Siegle earned a bronze medal in the downhill event at the Crans Montana World Cup in Switzerland this past weekend. The Vermont native put down a strong run to claim his first podium finish of the 2022-23 season. ## Momentum Heading into Olympics Cochran-Siegle's performance in Crans Montana comes at an opportune time, with the 2022 Beijing Olympics just a few weeks away. The 29-year-old is looking to build on his success at the last Winter Games, where he won a silver medal in the super-G event. "I'm really pleased with how I skied today," said Cochran-Siegle after the race. "It's great to get back on the podium and gain some momentum heading into the Olympics. The team has been working hard, and it's paying off." The U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team will look to carry this positive energy into the final World Cup events before the Olympic Winter Games, which begin on February 4th in Beijing.
