Italy's top female speed skiers are set to compete in the women's super-G on the iconic Olympia delle Tofane course in Cortina d'Ampezzo.
The Italian national team has confirmed its strong lineup for today's super-G race in Cortina, with four athletes representing the Azzurri on home snow. The competition takes place on the legendary Olympia delle Tofane course, one of the most challenging and historic venues in alpine skiing.
Laura Pirovano will be the first Italian to tackle the course wearing bib number 2, giving her an early opportunity to set a competitive time. She will be followed by Federica Brignone with start number 6, Sofia Goggia wearing bib 9, and Elena Curtoni starting as number 11.
